Security Degrees
The field of security involves protecting people and property against threats, danger, theft, or other criminal activity. In the light of the recent increase in large-scale terrorist attacks, the concept of security has also expanded to provide protection for entire communities. A related field, security and loss prevention services, involves the provision of personal security services such as crime and theft prevention, personal protection and property security. Bachelor's degrees are available in both of these specialties
Still, another aspect of security deals with the protection of data, particularly in an online environment. If you're an aspiring IT professional, you can earn an information or network security degree at the associate, bachelor's, or master's level.
